Job summary

RPO Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer (Water) to join a Pretoria team working on water infrastructure projects across public and private sectors. You will contribute to design, analysis, and delivery with a focus on quality and sustainability.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background, post-graduate water expertise, and 7+ years' experience. AutoCAD Civil 3D, IDAS, EPANET proficiency, and willingness to travel locally are essential.

Qualifications

• Eng. in Civil Engineering (post-graduate qualification in water engineering advantageous).
• ECSA Pr.Eng registration or eligible for registration within one year.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in civil/water engineering infrastructure design and construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including IDAS and EPANET (6+ years' experience required).
• Working knowledge of Revit Modelling (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater systems, including associated civil structures.
• Familiarity with quality management and design review protocols.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally and regionally.
• Passionate about water engineering and infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

• Eng. in Civil Engineering with focus on water projects across public and private sectors.
• Ensure design and construction meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and collaborate on water infrastructure projects from concept to delivery.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to develop robust solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in design and analysis.
