You will be the technical authority on structural matters, ensuring designs meet safety and regulatory standards through collaboration with architects and construction teams.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Structural Engineering, Pr Eng with ECSA, and 10+ years of experience in design and analysis, including SAP2000/ETABS.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design for buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Perform advanced structural analysis using industry software.
• Develop and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with National Building Regulations and SA standards.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections and provide structural engineering support during construction.
• Assess existing structures and provide rehabilitation or strengthening recommendations.
• Mentor and guide junior structural engineers and technicians.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in structural engineering.
• Manage structural engineering aspects of multiple projects concurrently.
