You will ensure safety, stability and compliance with South African codes, collaborating with architects and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Structural Engineering, is or eligible for ECSA registration, and has 7+ years' experience with SAP2000, ETABS and STAAD.Pro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• ECSA registration or eligible for registration.
• Minimum 7 years of structural engineering design and project execution.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro and CAD software.
• Strong understanding of material properties, load calculations and structural integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and infrastructure projects using relevant software.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations for review and approval.
• Ensure all structural designs comply with building codes, standards, and regulations in South Africa.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate structural requirements with overall project design.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction and ensure compliance with design intent.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams and resolve structural issues.
