Responsabilités

• Perform structural analysis and design for various building types using advanced software.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established engineering consultancy serving the Northern Cape region, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer for their Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA office. This role is integral to the design and oversight of a diverse range of building structures, including commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in structural analysis and design, a strong understanding of local building codes, and proven project management capabilities. You will lead project teams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with architects, developers, and contractors. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions. The role is based in Kimberley , providing direct engagement with project sites and local stakeholders vital for the development of the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, Prokon) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong understanding of building materials (steel, concrete, masonry) and construction techniques.
• Knowledge of the construction environment and regulations in the Northern Cape province.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
