Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of industrial facilities in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will collaborate with project managers, clients, and construction teams to ensure safe, efficient structures for process plants and heavy industrial buildings.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil or Structural Engineering degree (Master’s and Pr Eng preferred) with 8+ years in industrial projects, and proficient use of STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience focused on industrial projects.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS and BIM tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Lead structural design and analysis for industrial facilities.
• Develop detailed drawings, specs, and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with SANS, AISC, ACI and client requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and process engineers.
• Assist on-site during construction and review shop drawings.
