Qualifications
- 10 years external sales experience in steel industry or proven sales record for quenched & tempered steel products.
- Business Development and sales growth demonstrated.
- Reactivate inactive customers and recover market share.
- Identify opportunities for premium product conversion and value selling.
- Develop strategic account plans for key customers.
- Build long-term relationships with OEMs, fabricators, mining, engineering and processing customers.
- Customer management and regular customer visits/technical discussions.
- Understand customer applications and recommend steel solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales pipeline reporting.
- Market development and identifying competitor activity.
- Develop new applications for quenched & tempered products.
- Support marketing and product positioning initiatives.
