Job summary

Camunda is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and maintain a Kubernetes-based multi-cloud platform, improving monitoring and reliability. You will own end-to-end systems, contribute to automation, and mentor others while collaborating with product teams to deliver robust software.

The role is fully remote and global, with a focus on scalable, observable systems and responsible AI usage across the stack.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Kubernetes production experience.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform or similar IaC tool.
• Experience with monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Excellent incident response and on-call experience.
• Passion for automation and quality.
• Responsible use of AI tools with human accountability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a scalable Kubernetes-based multi-cloud platform.
• Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling.
• Own end-to-end reliability, on-call rotations, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship reliable features.
• Automate repetitive tasks and share learnings with the team.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices.
