Placements24 seeks a Senior Solutions Architect in Durban to design advanced telecom solutions for enterprise clients. You will translate complex requirements into scalable, secure architectures, working closely with sales and customers to deliver compelling proposals and demonstrations.

You will lead technical teams, mentor staff, and stay ahead of trends in networking, cloud, and UCaaS, ensuring high availability and cost efficiency on hybrid projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in designing and implementing complex enterprise telecom solutions.
• Proven track record as Solutions Architect or similar in telecom.
• Extensive knowledge of IP networking, VoIP, UCaaS, CCaaS, cloud infra (AWS/Azure/GCP), and cybersecurity.
• Experience with virtualization and SDN.
• Familiarity with API integrations and interoperability.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to translate complex tech to clear business value.
• Strong vendor management and partnerships.

Responsibilities
