Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end technical designs for enterprise clients in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will translate business needs into architecture, guide proposals, and ensure scalable, secure solutions across voice, data, video, and cloud services.

The role requires 8+ years in telecom solution architecture, strong IP networking and cloud skills, and excellent client communication. A TOGAF/CCIE background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or network design within the telecom industry.
• In-depth knowledge of IP networking, unified communications, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity.
• Experience with telecommunications services (MPLS, SD-WAN, VoIP, 5G).
• Excellent understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and business processes.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering complex solutions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CCIE) are highly desirable.
