Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Solar Project Manager to lead photovoltaic projects from inception to completion. This fully remote role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage cross-functional teams across locations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management, 8+ years of PM experience with 5+ years in solar PV, and PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience, with 5+ years in solar PV projects.
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale solar projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of solar technology, electrical systems, and construction processes.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; capable of managing diverse remote teams.
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end solar energy project management from feasibility to commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, budgets and resources.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensure regulatory permits and safety standards are met.
• Monitor progress and report KPIs to senior management.
