Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Cloud Infrastructure for a fully remote role. You will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, enabling our clients' cutting-edge services from your home office.

You will automate with IaC tools, implement Kubernetes-based orchestration, and drive CI/CD pipelines while upholding security and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.


• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.


• Implement and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.


• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management tasks through scripting and CI/CD pipelines.


• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.


• Develop and enforce security best practices for cloud environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.


• In-depth knowledge and hands-to-hand experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).


• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).


• Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).


• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.


• Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and monitoring tools.


• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.


• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.


• Relevant cloud certifications are a plus.
