Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient cloud-native applications and microservices using languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js. Build and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and infrastructure management. Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement cost-management strategies. Ensure the security, performance, and availability of cloud environments and applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, in a remote setting. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements to our technology stack. Mentor junior developers and contribute to fostering a strong engineering culture within the remote team.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure. Proven experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js). Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL). Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for a remote work environment.
