Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructures to support mission-critical applications, guiding cloud transformation and ensuring security, cost-efficiency, and performance.

You will lead IaC implementations, mentor engineers, and drive best practices across AWS, Azure or GCP environments, in collaboration with a global client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Eng or related field; master’s preferred.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Proficiency with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Strong networking, security, and database knowledge in a cloud context.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure) preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Proven expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and database technologies in a cloud context.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation is highly desirable.
