Job summary

Uber Eats in Johannesburg seeks an Account Manager to lead a portfolio of SMB restaurant partners. You will be their principal advisor, driving growth and unlocking Uber Eats potential through smart partnerships and data-driven decisions.

In a fast-paced, ambiguity-filled environment, you will negotiate with partners, resolve merchant issues, and collaborate with operations, marketing, and product teams to shape regional strategies that scale locally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in account management, operations, sales or customer-facing functions.
• Ability to negotiate with external partners and overcome objections to gain commitment.
• Ability to handle high-ambiguity environments and pivot quickly based on shifting business priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to build and leverage data-driven insights for portfolio sales lifecycle-management.
• Fluency in the local language of the market, and professional proficiency in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
