Placements24 is seeking a Senior Blockchain Developer focused on smart contract auditing in Midrand, Gauteng. You will audit Solidity contracts, assess security risks, and guide engineering teams to secure deployments.

You will work with Ethereum, Polygon, and BSC, using Slither, MythX, and other tools to strengthen security. The role offers a hybrid work model, competitive pay, and ongoing professional development.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer with a focus on smart contract auditing.
• Experience with Ethereum, Polygon, and BSC.
• Expertise in Solidity.
• Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Experience with security analysis tools and frameworks (Slither, MythX).
• Ability to clearly articulate findings in written reports and presentations.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity and other languages.
• Identify and document potential vulnerabilities, including reentrancy, overflows, front-running, and gas issues.
• Develop and implement security testing methodologies and tools.
• Provide expert guidance to development teams on secure coding practices.
• Analyze architecture and logic to align with best security practices.
• Prepare audit reports outlining findings, risks, and remediation steps.
• Stay informed on latest blockchain security developments and threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure deployments of new features.
• Participate in code reviews focusing on security implications.
• Contribute to internal security standards and best practices.
