Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Smart Contract Auditor in Cape Town to drive security assessments of smart contracts and blockchain protocols. You will lead a team of auditors, identify vulnerabilities, and craft actionable mitigation strategies across Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years software development, with ≥3 years in smart contract auditing or security.
• Proven experience auditing contracts on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Polygon.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity and other languages.
• Identify vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, overflows, access control, and logical errors.
• Develop testing methodologies and tools to uncover security flaws.
• Provide clear audit reports detailing risks and mitigations.
• Mentor junior auditors and guide auditing teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand codebase and risks.
• Stay current with latest vulnerabilities and security practices.
• Contribute to internal auditing tools and frameworks.
• Present audit findings to clients and stakeholders.
