Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all civil engineering activities on construction sites.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Manage and mentor junior engineering staff and site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Prepare regular progress reports, including technical documentation and site observations.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on site.
• Manage site logistics, resource allocation, and material procurement in coordination with the project manager.
• Troubleshoot engineering challenges and provide timely and effective solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a significant portion spent in site supervision and project management.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in infrastructure or building construction.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
