• Proven track record in large-scale civil projects such as roads, bridges or public infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and direct all civil engineering operations on the construction site in Johannesburg.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with project plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve engineering designs, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and resource needs.
• Manage site logistics, including material procurement, equipment utilization, and personnel scheduling.

Requirements

• Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
