Job summary

LMG Staffing Solutions, on behalf of a fast-growing ecommerce-focused digital agency, is seeking a Senior Shopify Project & Account Manager to lead project delivery, manage client relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple Shopify engagements. This freelance contractor role requires strong stakeholder communication and a meticulous, commercially minded approach.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Project Management, Account Management, Digital Agency Operations, and Shopify/eCommerce environments.
• Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystems and website delivery workflows.
• Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using project management platforms such as Asana.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead up to 7 concurrent Shopify/eCommerce projects, including builds, CRO, SEO retainers, and ongoing support.
• Maintain project timelines, budgets, documentation, and delivery quality.
• Manage Asana boards, schedules, risk logs, and change requests.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across development, design, SEO, and email.
• Escalate risks and blockers to leadership as needed.
• Serve as primary client contact and drive proactive updates.
• Lead recurring review calls and roadmap discussions.
• Mentor junior team members and enforce agency standards.
• Review changes, manage budgets, and assist with quoting/proposals.
