Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Senior Geoscientist specializing in seismic interpretation to join their fully remote team. You will interpret complex seismic data to identify exploration targets and steer hydrocarbon development across global basins from your home office.
The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Ph.D. in Geophysics or Geology with 8+ years in seismic interpretation, and is proficient with Petrel, Kingdom Suite, and IHS tools; you will collaborate with international teams and mentor
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Geophysics, Geology, or related Earth Science.
- 8+ years of seismic interpretation experience in Oil & Gas.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D seismic interpretation and data processing.
- Experience with Petrel, Kingdom Suite, and IHS tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced seismic interpretation to map structures and traps.
- Integrate seismic data with well, core, and other geological information.
- Use 2D/3D workflows for interpretation and analysis.
- Mentor junior geoscientists and share best practices.
- Collaborate with international teams to guide drilling decisions and reservoir understanding.
