Job summary

Indsafri India Private Limited is looking for an experienced and certified Scrum Master to guide our development teams in Agile methodologies. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative environment to enhance productivity.

The ideal candidate has proven experience with software development teams and holds a CSM or PSM certification. Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is essential, alongside excellent coaching and communication skills.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and certified Scrum Master to guide and coach our development teams in adopting and adhering to Agile methodologies. The Scrum Master will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, foster a collaborative environment, and drive continuous improvement to enhance team productivity and product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor the development team(s) on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
• Identify and remove impediments or blockers that hinder the team's progress.
• Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the team.
• Assist the Product Owner with backlog refinement and ensure the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
• Track and report on team progress, velocity, and key Agile metrics.
• Foster a positive and productive team environment, encouraging open communication and collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement by guiding the team in identifying areas for enhancement during retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to Scrum processes and values.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to identify and remove impediments effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other scaling methodologies.
