Job summary

Indsafri is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery teams focused on digital banking and financial services initiatives. You will drive Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, and partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy backlog while removing impediments and enabling high performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders and continuous improvement, with delivery excellence and quality at the forefront of the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Experience delivering digital banking or financial services solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and servant leadership.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Ensure successful delivery of digital banking/financial services solutions with quality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, experience working with cross-functional teams, and the ability to foster collaboration, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement. Experience within digital banking or financial services environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and proactively resolve issues impacting team delivery.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on delivering business value.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy product backlog and ensure work is clearly defined and prioritized.
• Track sprint progress, team velocity, and key Agile metrics to support effective delivery planning.
• Promote transparency and effective communication between development teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Support Agile transformation initiatives and encourage the adoption of Agile best practices across the organization.
• Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Ensure the successful delivery of digital banking and financial services solutions while maintaining quality standards.

Required Qualifications.

• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as a Scrum Master.
• Experience delivering digital banking or financial services solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and servant leadership principles.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional development teams.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience supporting Agile transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of banking systems, digital channels, regulatory requirements, and financial services processes.
