Qualifications

About the Role

Our client requires a proactive and experienced Senior Safety Officer to manage health and safety compliance for their operations in Benoni . You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of occupational health and safety in a dynamic industrial setting within Gauteng .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety management systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.

• In-depth knowledge of South African OHS Act and associated regulations.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems.
• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
