Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of road and highway projects including interchanges and urban/rural roads.
• Conduct feasibility studies, traffic impact assessments, and route selection studies.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and tender docs for road construction.
• Manage project teams, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with clients and authorities (e.g., SANRAL) and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and design staff.
• Ensure compliance with road design standards, SANRAL standards, and environmental regs.
• Oversee construction supervision and ensure quality and adherence to specs.

You will be responsible for ensuring the technical excellence, safety, and sustainability of road infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in geometric design, pavement engineering, traffic management, and project leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of road and highway projects, including interchanges, urban roads, and rural highways.

Requirements
