Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Revit Coordinator for a respected architectural and engineering firm in Randburg, Gauteng. You will lead BIM implementation, develop standards and templates, and coordinate multi-disciplinary models across architecture, structure and MEP.

The role includes training staff, ensuring data integrity, performing clash detection, and staying current with Revit features. Hybrid work setup and opportunities to influence digital design processes on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce Revit standards, templates, and best practices.
• Create and manage content libraries, including families and project templates.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM models (architectural, structural, MEP) for clash detection and integration.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Revit users across different departments.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve BIM proficiency within the organization.
• Perform quality control checks on models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards.
• Assist in the development of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for projects.
• Stay updated with the latest Revit features and BIM technologies and recommend improvements.
