Job summary

Talent Evolution (Pty) Ltd seeks a Senior Facilities Manager to lead technical and operational management of a major retail centre. You will drive building systems, maintenance programs, CAPEX projects and utility efficiency, while ensuring safety, compliance and high service delivery.

The role requires hands-on leadership of contractors, performance against SLAs, and oversight of risk, documentation and reporting within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or related technical discipline.
• Strong track record in managing facilities in large retail centres.
• Experience with planned maintenance, CAPEX projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead building services and facilities management for a large retail centre.
• Direct preventive maintenance programmes and ensure SLA compliance.
• Oversee contractors, manage CAPEX projects and utility performance.
• Ensure health, safety and statutory compliance across the centre.
• Coordinate tenant installations and technical fit-outs.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for governance.
