Job summary

Ability Executive Recruitment is seeking a Technical Facilities Manager to lead strategic and operational management of all technical building assets for a busy shopping centre in Centurion. The role focuses on safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, water and fire protection, CCTV, and associated infrastructure.

You will drive asset lifecycle planning, energy optimisation and service-provider governance while ensuring statutory compliance and capital

Qualifications

• Technical diploma (Mechanical or Electrical) required.
• Facilities Management Diploma is advantageous.
• OHS training or certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation, servicing, maintenance and repair of all technical assets.
• Oversee maintenance of technical infrastructure including sewer, water, stormwater, fire protection, CCTV, ETFE roofing, parking equipment.
• Oversee mechanical infrastructure including HVAC, lifts, pumps, generators, etc.
• Oversee electrical infrastructure including HT/LT, substations, transformers, UPS, solar.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimise disruption and maximise asset availability.
• Manage Certificates of Compliance, statutory inspections and technical records.
