The role includes gaining insights to guide development decisions from a home office. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience, proficiency in Eclipse/CMG/VIP, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• Master’s degree is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Characterize reservoirs using geological, geophysical, and engineering data.
• Perform decline curve analysis and reservoir simulations to forecast performance.
• Develop reservoir management strategies including injection and production optimization.
• Evaluate EOR techniques and other recovery improvement projects.
• Collaborate with geologists and drilling/production engineers to integrate insights into field plans.
• Prepare technical reports, economic evaluations, and management presentations.
• Monitor performance and identify optimization and risk-mitigation opportunities.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise.
