Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Reservoir Engineer to join a globally distributed, fully remote team. The role focuses on analyzing reservoir performance and developing strategies to optimize hydrocarbon recovery across a diverse asset portfolio.

Ideal candidates hold an MSc/PhD in Petroleum Engineering with 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering and simulation. Proficiency in ECLIPSE, Petrel RE, and CMG is required, along with strong data analytics and communication skills.

Qualificações

• MSc or PhD in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience with simulation and performance analysis.
• Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, Petrel RE, CMG).
• Experience with data analytics and statistical methods.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed reservoir characterization using geological, geophysical, and engineering data.
• Develop and maintain reservoir simulation models to predict performance.
• Optimize production strategies including well placement and EOR techniques.
• Analyze production data and well performance to identify improvements.
• Prepare reservoir reports, economic evaluations, and reserves estimates.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a remote setting.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
