Placements24 is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Systems Engineer to lead design, integration, and deployment of PV, wind, and storage projects in a remote setting. You will shape technical solutions and work with a globally distributed team to deliver high-impact energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on system design and engineering.
• Proven expertise in the design and integration of solar PV, wind turbines, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Strong understanding of power systems, grid integration, and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in simulation and design software such as PVSyst, HOMER, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Demonstrated project management experience is a plus.
• Commitment to sustainable energy solutions and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of renewable energy systems, including solar PV, wind, and energy storage solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and techno-economic analyses to evaluate project viability.
• Develop system specifications, equipment selection, and performance modeling.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, procurement specialists, and construction partners.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies and industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during project design and implementation phases.
• Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to stakeholders.
