Placements24 is recruiting a Lead Renewable Energy Engineer for a fully remote role. You will guide design and implementation of solar, wind and storage projects from concept to commissioning, leveraging deep electrical engineering expertise and strong leadership.

You will oversee feasibility studies, system optimization, and grid integration while mentoring a team of engineers. This position offers flexibility to work from anywhere while delivering high-impact clean energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• 8+ years in design, engineering, and project management of renewable energy systems.
• Expertise in solar PV, wind, or energy storage and grid integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and engineering of solar PV, wind, and storage systems.
• Develop conceptual designs, plans, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site feasibility studies and performance analysis.
• Oversee procurement of electrical components for projects.
• Manage integration with existing grid infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers and staff; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with PMs, stakeholders, and clients; drive project success.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Develop monitoring and predictive maintenance strategies.
