Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize renewable energy systems for a fully remote team. You will lead projects from concept to implementation, focusing on solar PV, wind, storage, and grid integration.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with PVsyst, HOMER, or SAM, along with strong virtual collaboration and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in design and engineering of renewable energy systems.
• Proven track record managing complex renewable energy projects from conception to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of solar PV, wind, energy storage (BESS), and grid integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of integrated renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind, storage).
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and performance analysis.
• Develop detailed system designs, specifications, and project documentation.
• Perform energy modeling and simulations to optimize performance.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during design, installation, and operation.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
