Job summary

Shift Pursuit seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects from planning through to completion in their Midrand office. The role requires managing schedules, budgets, and stakeholders across Solar PV, Wind, and/or BESS projects.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in project management within renewable energy, EPC, construction or infrastructure, with strong contract, risk, and commercial awareness. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• 8–10 years’ project management experience.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Experience within renewable energy, EPC, construction or infrastructure.
• Renewable Energy Experience: Solar PV, Wind Energy and/or BESS projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling and risk management.
• Sound commercial awareness and contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring and close-out of renewable energy projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources and reporting.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and clients.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure contractual, regulatory, quality and HSE compliance.
• Monitor project progress and report to key stakeholders.
• Support procurement, commissioning and project handover.
• Drive project performance and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
