Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in policy, economics, energy or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in policy analysis, research or consulting with energy focus.
• Strong knowledge of South African energy policy landscape and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and qualitative research skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with stakeholder engagement experience.
• Proficiency in data tools (Stata, R, Python) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on renewable energy policies, regulations, and market trends at national and international levels.
• Evaluate policy effectiveness and propose evidence-based improvements.
• Develop policy briefs, reports, and presentations for government and industry.
