Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to steer the development and execution of major renewable energy infrastructure projects. This fully remote SA role requires guiding projects from feasibility through construction and commissioning while leading cross-functional teams virtually.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years in project management within energy, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder skills, with PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in renewable energy.
• Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure from feasibility to commissioning.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects.
• Manage all project phases from site selection to commissioning.
• Develop detailed schedules, resource plans, and forecasts.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and external partners in a virtual setting.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with government, utilities, suppliers, communities.
• Identify risks and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Communicate progress through regular reporting and virtual meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement in PM processes.
