Placements24 is seeking a Senior Remote Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives for a globally distributed organization. This fully remote role requires extensive experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with no central office.

You will drive project success through leadership, clear communication, and the application of methodologies in a virtual setting. A proactive problem-solver is ideal for delivering high-impact results remotely.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience, with remote or virtual focus.
• Proven track record managing multi-million rand projects.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies for remote teams.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of large-scale, high-priority projects remotely.
• Develop and implement robust project plans: scope, budgets, timelines, resources and risks.
• Manage geographically dispersed project teams and foster a productive virtual environment.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders with regular updates on progress, risks and milestones.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and company practices in PM activities.
• Facilitate effective remote collaboration and decision-making across time zones.
