Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage distributed IT infrastructure. This senior role requires independent, proactive planning and effective remote problem-solving to maintain server and cloud environments across locations.

You will oversee Windows/Linux servers, cloud services (AWS/Azure), network design, security, and disaster recovery, while providing advanced remote support and strategic infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior IT infrastructure experience with remote management.
• Proficient with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Cloud architecture and cost-security optimization experience.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee server environments (physical/virtual) and OS.
• Manage AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure for performance and security.
• Design and maintain network infra including firewalls and VPNs.
• Develop robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor systems and implement proactive fixes to prevent downtime.
• Provide advanced remote technical support for complex infra issues.
