Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Project Manager specializing in IT infrastructure to join a globally distributed team. You will plan, execute and close complex IT projects, coordinating virtual teams across time zones and ensuring operational efficiency from a remote location.

The role requires 5+ years in IT projects with infrastructure focus, strong communication and budgeting skills, and experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and Jira/Confluence/MS Project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience, infrastructure, networks or cloud.
• Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage distributed stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
• Lead virtual project teams across time zones with clear communication and alignment.
• Develop detailed schedules, allocate resources, and manage budgets.
• Identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues as needed.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Maintain project documentation and provide regular status reports.
