Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Industrial Equipment Technician to troubleshoot and support clients worldwide, guiding on-site staff remotely. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and control system knowledge to diagnose complex issues without site visits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in industrial equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in industrial settings.
• Ability to interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic data.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience using remote desktop software, video conferencing, and other collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced remote technical support and troubleshooting for industrial equipment, including complex machinery, control systems, and software.
• Analyze client-provided data to diagnose issues.
• Develop and document remote support procedures and best practices.
• Conduct virtual inspections and guided troubleshooting with on-site technicians via video and remote access tools.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify and resolve recurring challenges.
• Create and update technical documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides.
• Advise clients on optimal operation, maintenance schedules, and performance improvements.
• Monitor equipment performance data remotely and identify potential issues.
• Assist in developing and delivering remote training modules for client personnel.
• Manage and prioritize incoming remote support requests to ensure timely resolutions.
