Placements24 is seeking a Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will identify, evaluate, and execute lucrative real estate opportunities across asset classes, shaping investment strategy through market research and robust financial models.

Expect to collaborate with senior management and deal teams, preparing memos and presentations while monitoring portfolio performance. A strong finance background and independence are essential for success in this remote role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related quantitative field.
Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in real estate investment analysis, acquisitions, or corporate finance, with a strong focus on real estate.
Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes for real estate assets.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, REIS, CoStar).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote work environment.
Strong understanding of various real estate asset classes (e.g., multifamily, industrial, retail, office).
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive financial analyses of potential real estate investments (DCF, IRR, NPV).
Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess property performance, market trends and investment risks.
Perform detailed market research and due diligence on target properties and markets.
Prepare investment committee memos, presentations, and reports outlining deal rationale and projections.
Monitor portfolio performance and provide asset management recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, lenders, and brokers to facilitate deal execution.
Stay abreast of market conditions, economic factors, and regulatory changes.
Identify drivers of investment performance and develop value-enhancing strategies.
