Placements24 is seeking a Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join its remote team. You will lead market research, build sophisticated financial models, and prepare recommendations for acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects. This role emphasizes analytical rigor and clear communication with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related quantitative field.
• Master’s degree or CFA designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify investment opportunities and analyze trends in Johannesburg markets.
• Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, sensitivity analysis) in Excel.
• Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for senior management and committees.
• Perform due diligence on acquisitions including leases, operating statements, and legal docs.
• Monitor performance of existing investments and report on risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with brokers, appraisers, and legal counsel to facilitate transactions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
