Placements24 is seeking a Senior Real Estate Appraiser in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The role blends fieldwork with remote analysis and report writing.

You will conduct valuations for mortgage lending, investments, and legal matters, while upholding industry standards and delivering well-supported reports. The ideal candidate holds a certified Real Estate Appraiser designation, with at least five years of appraisal experience and a strong track record of high-quality reports.

Formación

• Certified Real Estate Appraiser designation (e.g., SAIV, PRV) and valid practicing certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate appraisal, residential/commercial focus.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality appraisal reports for diverse property types.
• In-depth knowledge of appraisal theory, principles, and techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed site inspections and gather property information for valuations.
• Research and analyze comparable sales, market trends, and economic data relevant to property values.
• Apply various appraisal methodologies (sales comparison, cost, income capitalization) accurately.
• Prepare comprehensive and defendable appraisal reports meeting industry standards and client requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of USPAP and local market conditions.
