Key duties include administering contracts (JBCC/NEC), handling variations and claims, and providing procurement guidance. The role demands a strong track record in cost management and negotiation with contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with cost management background.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software and contract administration principles.
• Strong understanding of JBCC and NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
• Manage project expenditures, value work done, and process payments.
• Administer contracts, including claims, variations, and disputes.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for cost-effective agreements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for George-area projects.
• Provide procurement and contractual guidance to stakeholders.
