Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
• Professional registration with SACQSP is advantageous.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of contract law, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
• Manage and administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
• Monitor project expenditures, value engineering, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and clients on commercial terms and contract variations.
