About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management and financial control for construction projects in Upington and the surrounding Northern Cape region. You will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial estimates to the final reconciliation of accounts. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong financial acumen, and a thorough understanding of construction contracts and procurement methods. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently, providing essential financial expertise to project teams and senior management, contributing to the economic success of major builds in the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
• Manage tender processes, including contract preparation, negotiation, and award.
