Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QC team at our Randburg facility. You will implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure products meet stringent standards and customer expectations.

You will manage a team of quality inspectors, conduct audits, and collaborate with production and engineering to address quality issues, driving improvements and maintaining our reputation in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Quality Control supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and quality standards.
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the quality control team, providing training and performance feedback.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control procedures and standards.
• Conduct regular audits of production processes and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Investigate quality complaints and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality considerations into all stages of the product lifecycle.
