Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client in Benoni, Gauteng. You will design and execute comprehensive test strategies, coordinate with development teams, and ensure quality across web and mobile applications in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in a related field, at least four years' QA experience, hands-on automation with Selenium or Cypress, and proficiency with Jira or TestRail.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional QA/Software Testing experience.
• Experience designing and executing test cases for complex software applications.
• Hands-on automation with Selenium or Cypress.
• Programming/scripting for test automation (Python/Java/JS).
• Experience with Jira/TestRail and bug tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans for web and mobile apps.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects in bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers for test coverage.
• Author and maintain automated tests to improve efficiency.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share QA best practices.
• Analyze results and report defects trends.
