Job summary
Blue Pearl HQ is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Automation to design, develop, and implement automated and performance testing across cloud-native applications within Agile teams.
The role focuses on testing strategies for RESTful APIs, microservices, and web interfaces using JMeter and Selenium, with leadership of testing activities through the Software Testing Life Cycle.
A Bachelor's degree and strong CI/CD knowledge are required; certifications like ISTQB are beneficial.
Qualifications
- Experience designing automated test frameworks for web, API, and cloud-based apps.
- Ability to design and execute API testing strategies for RESTful services.
- Experience performing performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Proficiency with JMeter and other performance tools.
- Strong understanding of software quality engineering and STLC.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and API applications.
- Lead automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute API tests for RESTful and microservices.
- Analyze performance metrics and produce reports.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Mentor testing teams through the STLC.
