Job summary

Blue Pearl HQ is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Automation to design, develop, and implement automated and performance testing across cloud-native applications within Agile teams.

The role focuses on testing strategies for RESTful APIs, microservices, and web interfaces using JMeter and Selenium, with leadership of testing activities through the Software Testing Life Cycle.

A Bachelor's degree and strong CI/CD knowledge are required; certifications like ISTQB are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience performing performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Quality Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and cloud-based applications.
• Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test Design and execute API testing strategies for RESTful and microservices-based applications.
• Develop automated API test scripts using industry-standard API testing frameworks.
• Validate API functionality, security, integration, and performance requirements.
• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Utilize JMeter and other performance testing tools to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Produce detailed performance test reports and recommendations.
• Lead and manage testing teams throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Qualifications / Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

• Experience testing cloud-based applications and environments.

Methodologies
