Job summary
Blue Pearl PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Automation to design, develop, and execute automated and performance testing for cloud-native applications. You will lead testing efforts in an Agile SDLC and mentor test teams while driving quality engineering best practices across the SDLC.
The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with JavaScript, Kotlin, Selenium, JMeter, and various API testing frameworks, and can design scalable test solutions that ensure reliable software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Kotlin, Selenium, and JMeter.
- Experience leading STLC processes and testing teams.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful and microservices testing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and cloud-based applications.
- Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Design and implement API tests for RESTful and microservices architectures.
- Validate API functionality, security, and performance requirements.
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
- Lead testing teams through the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
